On a day forecasted to be 100 plus degrees we thought a hike up Angels Rest would be the perfect way to spend the morning. Since we are a little over a month out from Hiking the South Sister the elevation and heat is a good way to train.

Our original plan was to take the Fox Glove trail up from Angels Rest to Devils Rest, but the poison oak that is so prevalent in the Gorge prevented us from doing so. All in all the little hike was a nice start to the day, the wildflowers were in bloom, and we all went home to bathe in a large amount of Dawn dish soap.
