Today I got to marry my best friend, and what a magical day it was!
When we woke up the rain was coming down in typical Oregon fashion, and though we had been hoping all year for snow we wouldn’t let our spirits be dampened. We had breakfast together with some of our family and headed off to get ready for the big day.
The boys took a leisurely morning before heading up to Tetherow to suit up.
Laura and I spent our morning with Mimosas, Kir Royales, and the lovely Alice Jolly.
And while I was getting ready the snow began to fall! I didn’t truly know how much until our first look, it was such a rush of emotions.
Brent and I headed outside for photographs in the snowy landscape before the ceremony.
Once everyone else arrived our lovely ceremony was delivered by our amazing friend Douglas, and the snow continued to fall!
Finally, everyone sat down to a lovely dinner before partying the night away with dancing and of course snowball fights.
